Meet Carissa Nations

Originally from the East Bay, Carissa relocated to Santa Cruz many years ago and quickly found a place to call home. She now serves the Santa Cruz real estate market, helping buyers and investors navigate one of California’s most distinctive coastal communities.

Carissa began her real estate career in 2021, earning her broker license in 2023, and is a proud member of the National Association of REALTORS®. Her professional background spans client relations and hospitality, including more than five years as a senior property manager. This experience built a strong foundation in communication, negotiation, and service-driven problem-solving skills she brings to every client relationship.

Drawn to real estate by a longstanding interest in community building, Carissa views homeownership as a powerful tool for connection, stability, and long-term growth. She is especially passionate about working with first-time homebuyers and investors, helping them acquire assets that support families, strengthen communities, and benefit future generations.

Her work is guided by core values of adaptability, growth, innovation, and sustainability. Beyond real estate, Carissa remains deeply connected to the local community through volunteer work at local farms and her support of organic, sustainable agriculture.

Outside of work, Carissa enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, cooking, and exploring new ways to stay inspired. That same curiosity and care define her approach to real estate—thoughtful, informed, and centered on long-term value for her clients and community.
